A Few Thoughts on Brazil

The most amazing three weeks of my life have gone by. Brazil left full of emotions, joyful ones, but at the same time sad ones. The city planning of Rio de Janeiro is impressive, yet the extreme inequality is the greatest I have ever seen. While touring the favelas I was able to experience what survival without permission or help is like. My anguish was inevitable when looking at skyscrapers and beaches settled just next to hundreds of shacks. Yet, people on each corner are definitely beautiful. A passion for music and soccer unites their hearts and welcomes anyone enthusiastic about life.
